Step-by-Step Instructions for Installing Alpharex Nova Headlights on Your Sprinter Van

Step 1: Prepare for Headlight Adjustment

• Before starting the installation, park your Sprinter Van facing a wall.
• Turn on your current headlights and use tape to mark the position of the top beam of light on the wall.
• Also, mark the spot where your Sprinter Van's tires are on the ground to ensure you can return to the same position when adjusting the new headlights.

Step 2: Remove the Fender Liner

• Start by removing the fender liner on your Sprinter Van.
• Locate and remove any push rivets or fasteners holding the liner in place.
• Once removed, pull the bumper slightly away from the fender. Note that you do not need to fully remove the bumper for this headlight installation.

Step 3: Remove the Front Grille

• Next, remove the front grille of your Sprinter Van.
• There are three Torx screws on the grille that need to be removed. After removing these screws, gently unsnap the grille from the vehicle.

Step 4: Disconnect the Headlights

• Disconnect the stock halogen headlights by unplugging the headlight connector at the back of the unit.
• Push down on the latch and pull back on the connector to disconnect it.

Step 5: Remove the Stock Headlights

• To remove the stock headlights from your Sprinter Van, locate and remove four Torx screws: two at the top and two at the bottom of the headlight.
• Once these screws are removed, carefully pull out the headlight unit.

Step 6: Install the Alpharex Nova Headlights

• Now, it's time to install the Alpharex Nova headlights in your Sprinter Van.
• Position the new headlight in place and secure it using the four Torx screws: two at the top and two at the bottom.
• Ensure the headlight is seated properly before fully tightening the screws.

Step 7: Connect the New Headlights

• Plug in the new Alpharex Nova headlights by connecting the headlight pin to the connector at the back.
• Ensure the connector is fully latched to avoid any electrical issues.

Step 8: Reinstall the Grille and Fender Liner

• Reattach the front grille by snapping it back into place and securing it with the three Torx screws.
• Reinstall the fender liner, ensuring it fits snugly into place, and reattach the push rivets or fasteners.

Step 9: Test the New Headlights

• Once the Alpharex Nova headlights are installed, turn on your Sprinter Van's lights to check for proper function.
• Compare the brightness and beam pattern of the new headlights to ensure they are functioning as expected.

Step 10: Adjust Headlight Aim

• To adjust the aim of the new headlights, return your Sprinter Van to the position marked earlier.
• Use the adjustment screws on the headlight units to align the beams to match the markings on the wall.
• Ensure that the light beam is not too high, so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.
